Yiu Heng was the first enterprise to introduce stainless steel coils into mainland China to replace boards. With Japan's JFE Steel Corporation (formerly Kawasaki Steel Corp), we pioneered the introduction into Southeast Asia of non-trimmed coils as a replacement for trimmed coils, significantly reducing waste of resources and lowering production costs, demonstrating the core value of a specialised service company and delivering benefits to a large number of users. In September 2005, together with JFE, Yiu Heng promoted its jointly developed and owned JYH21CT new-generation stainless steel, which is nickel-free, molybdenum-free, high-chromium, and as highly anti-corrosive as Grade 304 stainless steel. In less than a year, this material has come to be applied to wide acclaim in a number of industries. It is also assigned by major purchasing companies in Europe and the United States as a priority material in products on their buying lists, including containers, dining utensils and kitchenware. In light of the instability of global metal markets, an increasing number of industries are using JYH21CT material in place of Grade 304 material. At the same time, together with Nippon Yakin Kogyo Co., Ltd, we actively promoted high-quality and highly anti-corrosive super stainless steel and nickel and molybdenum alloys, especially the newly developed NAS155N, which is highly anti-corrosive, has superior acid-resistance, and strong potential for cost reduction.
